Aznii Kyita Welchlin
94th SGA President-elect at Tougaloo College.
Aznii Kyita Welchlin is a senior at Tougaloo College majoring in Political Science with a minor in Pre-Law and currently serves as the 94th Student Government Association President. A native of Jackson, Mississippi, she is passionate about leadership, advocacy, and public service, with a particular interest in law, policy, and global justice. Through leadership roles and internships with Mississippi for a Just World and the AUC Center for Excellence A.T.I. Leadership Program, Aznii has strengthened her skills in organizing, civic engagement, and advocacy. She aspires to attend law school and pursue a career in human rights, prison reform, and international affairs, with a commitment to advancing justice and expanding opportunities for marginalized communities.
