Dr. Marie Abston

Dr. Marie Abston is an accomplished healthcare executive, entrepreneur, television personality, and community leader with a passion for expanding access to quality healthcare services throughout Mississippi. A Madison, Mississippi native, she holds a cosmetology license, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a Master’s degree in Health Administration, and a Doctorate in Health Administration. She is the co-owner of HamiltonDavis Mental Health, Inc. and several other successful healthcare and community-focused enterprises that serve individuals and families across the state. In recognition of her impact, the Mississippi Legislature adopted House Resolution 157 during the 2026 Regular Session, formally recognizing Dr. Abston and her business partner, Essie Florence, for their outstanding contributions in providing mental health and home care services to Mississippi citizens.

Dr. Abston is also known nationally as a cast member of OWN’s hit reality television series Belle Collective, where she shares her journey as a businesswoman, leader, and legacy builder.
