
Ramona Sanders is a dynamic leader serving as President of the Meridian/Lauderdale County MS NAACP Branch. Having lived in Lauderdale County for 20 years, she brings a wealth of wisdom and experience to her community. She is the proud parent of Alexsheldon J. Norman and an active member of Freedom Rock Cathedral, under the leadership of Bishop LeBron Hedgemon.
Sanders has been a steadfast voice in the fight for voting rights, often emphasizing the pivotal role of Black women in advancing civil rights. “Black women are the backbone of the civil rights movement, uniting with other organizations to make significant progress. As NAACP members, we must empower our community through information,” she has shared.
