Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) Monica F. Bradshaw hails from Utica, MS, retired in 2018 after a 30-year military career. She was deployed to the Middle East supporting Operations Dessert Shield & Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) in 2005-2006 and 2008-2009. LTC (R) Bradshaw is active in her local community. She is the founder and CEO of Lyonses Endowment Coalition (L.E.C.), a nonprofit organization that serves youth and senior citizens specifically in rural Hinds County. Additionally, she is currently the Administrative Assistant at her church, Greater Zion Travelers M.B. Church, Utica, MS. She is an active member of the Clinton (MS) Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. In 2025, she was elected to the Reedtown Water Association Board of Directors. She is the proud mother of a daughter, Kyara Williams also of Utica, MS.
