She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Jackson State University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Southern Mississippi. Early in her career, she worked on capacity-building projects centered on sexual and reproductive health—an experience that ignited her passion for empowering youth and advocating for systems-level change. Her commitment has been especially strong in the area of mental health, an issue she has seen impact both her family and her community.
As Director of Youth Outreach and Well-being at Teen Health Mississippi, Amos leads with purpose, ensuring that the voices of young people are elevated in shaping better health outcomes.
