
Anner Marie Cunningham is a dynamic leader, data analyst, entrepreneur, and lifelong advocate for education and economic. She currently serves as Assistant Vice President and Risk Data Analyst II at Cadence Bank.
Her passion for empowering others began long before her banking career. Anner served at the Center for Higher Education, encouraging post-secondary and trade education for non-traditional students. Prior to that she founded Golden Triangle Housing Services, a HUD-certified nonprofit agency, and led it for 10 years—helping families secure housing, avoid foreclosure, and build financial stability.
Anner is a proud graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a Master’s in Community Economic Development and made history at Mississippi State University as the first student to earn three bachelor’s degrees in finance.
Her leadership extends deeply into the civil rights community. A Diamond Life Member of the NAACP, 19 years with the organization, she serves as 1st Vice President of the Mississippi State Conference NAACP, chairs the Revitalization Committee, and leads as President of the Clay County NAACP in her hometown of West Point, Mississippi.
Above all, Anner is a wife, a mother, and a champion for people—bringing heart, experience, and vision to every space she enters.
