
Dr. Angel Johnson is an Educator with over 10 years of experience in Jackson Public School District. In her current role as a Psychometrist, helps support children and families with suspected disabilities.
Dr. Johnson attended Alcorn State University as a undergraduate and Jackson State University where she obtained graduate degrees. However, Alcorn holds a special place in Angel’s heart!
As a proud member of Shiloh M.B. Church in Jackson, MS under the leadership of her father, Pastor Eddie Freeman III. Dr. Johnson enjoys her duties as a adult choir member, and youth leader. Additionally, Dr. Johnson started a program called “Shiloh on a Mission” where their church family supports the community by providing necessary resources on each third Sunday of the month. Those resources include food, hygiene items, school supplies, health screening, etc.
Dr. Johnson is a proud member of several organizations including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. , Girl Trek, and Mississippi Association for Educators where she currently serves as Vice President of Jackson Association of Educators.
